Boris Schneider-Johne, born in 1966, is a prominent figure of the German video game industry. He co-founded two of the most influential games magazines, first Power Play, then PC Player, which in 1995 had the highest circulation of any video game publication in Europe. He also is known as the Grandfather of German games translations, including well know-titles like "The Secret of Monkey Island" and, most recently (and finally), "Thimbleweed Park".

He works at Microsoft in Germany on non-gaming related topics ("Ask me about Azure!") and lives in Landshut, Bavaria, with an arcade machine, roughly fifty devices logged into his WiFi and way too many books.

Boris is available as a speaker for industry conferences. Contact him at boris@dreisechzig.net
